SEO Insights by Growth Nexus is a production-ready WordPress plugin that brings the core jobs of several paid SEO tools — link auditing, keyword tracking, backlink logging, and domain authority — directly into the WordPress admin. No exporting data, no juggling subscriptions, no leaving the dashboard.
Shipped at version 3.0.0 across 21 well-structured files, it's engineered for accuracy and scale: link scanning reads straight from the database rather than crawling rendered pages, HTTP checks are cached to stay fast and polite, and scans run on a schedule so the site's SEO health is always current.
The Challenge
Paying for several tools to answer a few recurring questions
Keeping a WordPress site healthy for search means answering the same questions over and over: are any links broken, how are target keywords ranking, which backlinks point here, and how strong is the domain? Each of those usually means a separate paid SaaS tool, a separate login, and a separate export to make sense of together.
We wanted a single plugin that answered all of it natively — accurately enough to trust, fast enough to run on real sites, and cheap enough to own outright instead of renting month after month.
What stood in the way
Multiple overlapping SEO subscriptions, each billed monthly for a slice of the picture.
Plugin-based link scanners that crawl rendered HTML are slow and miss links buried in content.
Ranking, backlink, and authority data lived in different tools, never in one view.
No native way to keep SEO checks running automatically as content changed.
Our Solution
Built for accuracy: raw DB reads, cached HTTP, scheduled scans
The heart of SEO Insights is its link scanner. Instead of crawling rendered pages, it reads post and meta content directly from the WordPress database, so it captures every internal and external link accurately — including ones other scanners miss — and does it fast. Each discovered URL is then HTTP-checked for status, with a caching layer so repeat checks don't hammer external servers or slow the admin.
Around that core we built a full toolkit: keyword tracking to monitor target terms over time, backlink logging to record and review inbound links, and domain authority scoring via the OpenPageRank API. A scheduled scanner keeps everything fresh in the background, so the data is current whenever the site owner opens the dashboard.
All of it is presented across seven dedicated admin pages with a clean, native WordPress feel — organised so a site owner can move from a broken-link report to keyword trends to backlink history without ever leaving WordPress.
